80 Million USD For the development of eight territories of South KIVU province in DRcongo.
The United Nations Development Program ( UNDP) that leads the execution of implementing the scheduled developmental program in different territories of DRC, basing on social facilities, in the Health sector, infrastructures, schools, agricultural and administrative sectors.
The program in South KIVU is to comply with poor roads in the province that connects with rural areas, to facilitate the transportation of goods and services,
It was reportedly said that the Head of state has initially placed his support to execute the program where 80 million USD is pledged.
According to the office of UNDP in South KIVU, has organised the way how this money will be distributed to the 8 territories of the province, where every territory will be given 10 million USD and the 80 million will execute the work in every territory Gusira said.
This development program is expected to vary according to rural and urban areas where much money will do the work in urban than rural areas.
POOR DISTRIBUTION OF SERVICES IN THE AREA
This program is to be carried out as soon as possible, whereas certain territories are not secured due to the conflict that is going on, in the highlands of mulenge that has more than two territories among them.
The war in the province has threatened the development program and this caused the government to neglected, deconsideration of the area to certain places, for example the Minembwe General hospital does not get supplied medicines from the health ministry for it has been rejected and citizens buy for their own cost, health workers paid by citizens which has led to a discriminatory government services in the province.
