
North Kivu province Women protest against war on March 8.
On the international women’s Rights day March 8 , North Kivu province women demonstrates against the raging warfare in the Eastern DRcongo that keeps the life of thousands in a vulnerability circle state.
The demonstrations which have been executed by women from different communities in the area, have been symbolized by bitterness and grief of what is going on in the country calling upon the gouvernement to bring an end to the situation.
These demonstrations comes after the North Kivu military governor of the province Constant Ndimba calls upon the population to stop protesting against the peace keeping mission forces in the country, Goma basically, and mostly the EACRF burundian and Kenyan forces who have camped and protecting different rebellious axis to the capital city of the province.
The M23 mouvement Said to be behind this devastating crisis has continually blamed the Kinshasa government of aborting the ceasefire agreement on the same day of Cease, where Fardc forces launched attacks against M23 and they sparked fire back which putted an end to the ceasefire agreement as announced by the M23 military spokesperson Major Willy Ngoma.
The vice governor Nziavake Edo said that in accordance with the global women’s day theme which states that “ inclusive digital world, innovation and technologies for gender equality “. This will not be applied to our Country North KIVU particularly due to war crisis.” she said
