Gianni Infantino wins the next 4 year FIFA presidency position.
Ahead of the 73rd FIFA Congress in Rwanda Kigali, the FIFA council had a meeting March 14th 2023 discussing and taking different decisions concerning the future football next world cup inclusively.
The FIFA council has elected Gianni Infantino as the next president of the International Federation of Association Football ( FIFA) , without any competitor for the position.
After Infantino’s win he made his speech and said“ i love you so much all especially today, being the FIFA president is an incredible honour, but also a burdened and heavy responsibility “, the FIFA council has kept it’s confidence in Gianni a responsibility that he has welcomed since he was elected as FIFA president in 2019.
This meeting that has taken two day on the board, the next world cup has been a major discussant point of view, where the organisers were named to be the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The FIFA council has also declared the 2026 as the biggest and longest world cup ever with 104 matches by 48 National teams 10 as qualified African nations.
