
EAST AFRICAN LEADER MEETING IN BUJUMBURA FOR THE INSECURITY IN EASTERN DRCONGO.
The meeting up of East African countries heads of states in Bujumbura, has been concluded by getting different decisions, asking both sides the government and rebel groups to obey the Nairobi and Luanda peace process agreements.
The 20th summit of these Head of states has requested the countries that were supposed to send their military troops in DRcongo to do so.that is “ South Sudan, Uganda, kenya and Burundi ” .
As reported by the chief secretary of EAC communities said that DRcongo should also deliver fast their help of services for these forces to come and stabilize their country.
He continued asking every side to not disrespect what the summit has agreed on.
The summit has asked the fighting forces from both sides to immediately stop the fight, rather to put in implementation the LUANDA and NAIROBI peace process.
He added that they should put in place all they are asked to do and stop all kinds of provocations, and follow what the heads of states tells them to do.
This summit has been organized by president Ndayishimiye of Burundi while the conflict continues in the Eastern DRcongo between the M23 movement Forces and FARDC soldiers.
This comes after DRcongo has expelled the 3 Rwandese soldiers who are among the leaders of EAC peacekeeping mission.
