Economic Crisis in GOMA
Ever since M23 occupied different North KIVU territories, it was reportedly said that social – economic impacts have affected people living in the Goma city, and people in North KIVU in general.
According to the source of information, a huge traffic of different vehicles has been signaled on the roadsides, from the Northwest of the province, that is Masisi, Kitchanga Rutchuru and others due to the ongoing warfight between M23 and Fardc forces together with merceneries and Maimai alongside FDRL.
Citizens declares of not accessing different social economic needs from the parts of the province where warfight is being intensified.
Civilians at this point are against their army FARDC that causes war provocations which is putting people’s lives in dire conditions. Saying that M23 has no problem with us instead comforts us gives us rest no violent acts against us it’s really a well disciplined army but you should stop attacking them instead to improve the social economic exchange of goods.
“FARDC, merceneries FDRL and maimai coalition that attacks M23 day by day makes the lives of GOMA innocent civilians miserable, and at the same time escalating the breakdown of EAC head of states summit recommandations ” M23 says.
At this point still M23 Condemned the extreme assassination of Tutsi women killed by cutting off their heads, as they were going in their gardens to find something to give to their children by Codeko armed group.
