The military of Ukraine said that two Iranian-made Shahed attack drones and two surveillance drones were destroyed as a result of the bombardment of 30 missiles fired by Russia during the course of the previous night, including cruise missiles fired from the sea, air, and land.

A Patriot system, according to two U.S. officials, presumably sustained some damage but had not been destroyed. One of the sources said conversations on fixing the system were in progress and it did not seem the system would need to be withdrawn from Ukraine.

It was the first time Ukraine claimed to have successfully fired a whole barrage of Kinzhal missiles, and if verified, it would be proof of the potency of its recently installed Western air defenses.
