Maimai rebels have threatened Goma city residents that is North Kivu province DRcongo.

The news we have received to Minembwe Capital News is that today Tuesday March 28, Maimai rebels were seen in Goma city, in their rubbish uniforms. This made the city inhabitants to be scared as these rebels are condemned of killing innocent civilians who speaks kinyarwanda language in North and South KIVU provinces.
One among Goma city residents told Minembwe Capital News that “ the Maimai truly have a coalition with the national army FARDC, after becoming one they should wear like the national army Forces that serves the Kinshasa government, instead they keep themselves in their rubbish and rebellious militia uniforms and this shows us that they can keep on killing congolese citizens who speaks kinyarwanda and this will be justified as unknown murderers. We highly condemn this strategic bad politics this governement is using.
Onother citizen said that “ here in Goma young men keeps moving around the city carrying gun weapons without putting on the known national force army uniform. This keeps threatening people in Goma city”.
These people carrying guns are confusingly dressed up ( army trouser uniform and upper civilian dress code). They were seen near Airtel network service center, were seen again in a place called AinstGo.
It was reportedly said that one among these rebels was seen in Sake town.
The same people are merely seen in bars and hotel as reported by the reliable sources of information.
This comes after Maimai rebels from Fizi and Mwenga territory, have publicly announced that they want to fight against M23, and the Congolese government accepted the proposal and gave them the way to go to Bukavu and Goma as they arrived in Goma, the Kinshasa government said that they will not again be called Maimai but from now on call them “ reservist “.
