Ukraine claimed on Tuesday that it had destroyed six Russian Kinzhal missiles in a single night, defying Moscow’s claims that it has developed a nearly unstoppable next-generation hypersonic missile.
It was the first time Ukraine claimed to have destroyed a full barrage of Kinzhal missiles, and if verified, it would serve as an example of how powerful Kyiv’s recently installed Western air defenses are.
The enemy’s goal is to spread fear and wreak havoc. But in the northern operating zone, which includes Kiev, everything is completely under control. The Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces, General Serhiy Naev, stated.

According to the Russian government, the assaults targeted Ukrainian military troops and ammunition storage facilities, according to Zvezda.
Six Kinzhal cruise missiles fired from planes, nine Kalibr cruise missiles fired from Black Sea ships, and three Iskander missiles fired from the ground were all intercepted, according to Zaluzhnyi.
