UN peacekeeper died others severely wounded as the helicopter was set ablaze in DRcongo
In Democratic republic of congo a UN peacekeeper has passed away and others severely wounded as their helicopter was set ablaze in DRcongo.
The attack has no anyone responsible for it according to UN statement.
” I call on Congolese authorities to investigate this heinous attack and bring those those responsible to justice The attack against united nations peacekeepers may constitute a war crime under international law. ” António Guterress said.
Violence in Eastern DRcongo has been on the move for a long time by different Armed groups that operates in the area, apart from M23 a rebel group that is against the violence of the Congolese soldiers and authorities to it’s own citizens.
M23 has been a royalistic rebel mouvement that is Right if you approche and talk to them and make sure you listen to them.
“Not every rebellious militia mouvement is fundamentally for violence, M23 we stand for the people we fight for the people ever since the failure of the Kinshasa government since a long time ago, to secure and maintain the sovereignty of the country. We want to put to an end the Acts of violence by the so called royal army of the republic but which is still tribalistic and discriminatory”. M23 spokesperson said.
A hundreds of civilians have lost their lives since last year. We you make a scrutiny none of them has been killed by M23 mouvement, rather by other rebel groups MAÏMAÏ, Codeco ADF NARU and many more others operating in the area.
The situation in Eastern DRcongo, has been a cause of concert for international humanitarian organisation.
Last year 49 bodies were reported by UN to have been found in a mass grave linked to militia killings in DRcongo and among all these atrocities none was committed by M23 mouvement. But ADF NARU.
DRC soldiers are accused by M23 for being violent and not professional in their carrier but rather a Hooliganistic, and aggressive army.
