We are aware of kidnappings and other incidents of insecurity in the Ruzizi plain. The power in place’s complicity in this predicament is exactly justified by what is happening in the high and intermediate plateaus.
He suggests a straightforward plan of action to end this predicament: “Have strong men who reassure next to the people. We also want to use our own army as a backup. If the DRC wants a durable peace, it cannot rely on a foreign force.

TAKING A LOOK IN NORTH KIVU.
On Saturday, May 20, Brigadier General Robert Kasongo, the commander of operations for Sokola 1, confirmed to have taken note of the ADF’s tenacity in the Mughalika valley (North Kivu).
