Kinshasa forces ( FARDC) forces who serves from Mikenke, itombwe Territory , yesterday 09th/02/2023, seized money from cow shepherds afterwards they bet them horribly for they are taking their cows.
News from our reliable sources is that cow shepherds namely mporana, nsengiyumva and gisubizo, are mikenke residents who were looking for pastures for their cows heading to minembwe, as they reach birarombiri in mikenke FARDC forces stopped them.
After stopping them as reportedly said by our correspondent who is in Highlands of mulenge, that they stopped them and their cows as well, they tied them up, horribly beaten them and took them in the FARDC camp of mikenke led by colonel John, they took the money they had first before they could release them, and they told the shepherds that they are not allowed to displace their cows to minembwe.
This comes after General André oketi ohenzo, has recently told Tutsi people from Banyamulenge who stays in the highlands of mulenge that, he is bringing peace to them, he added that he is to train his soldiers to love and work for the people.
What happened to the shepherds is quite contrary to what General André oketi ohenzo proclaimed to people.
