The Front for a New Congo (FPCN) political party encouraged and congratulated the Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI) on Saturday, May 27, in the execution of the various electoral stages, including the submitting of the draft bill on the allocation of seats in the National Assembly.
Claude Nyamugabo was installed as party president during this FPCN convention. He reaffirmed his Sacred Union membership and his support for Felix Tshisekedi’s candidacy in the presidential elections.

It is important to highlight that the CENI is carrying out its duties properly because it has just forwarded the preliminary draft, which will enable the designation of the electoral districts and the number of deputies, via the Deputy Prime Minister of the Interior. In order to give our nation this law, we are anticipating the National Assembly to analyze it swiftly.
Sama Lukonde, the prime minister of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, has recently assured the head of the Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI) of the government’s support and commitment to providing the finances required for the timeline’s concretization.
The head of the electoral center and the head of government spoke about how to continue conducting elections in accordance with the CENI schedule at this meeting.
The beginning of the acceptance and processing of candidacies for the aforementioned legislative elections was announced by the president of CENI.
This meeting between the two individuals took place shortly after the report on the external audit of the electoral register was presented and was now deemed “reliable” by both national and international independent experts, as well as following the submission of the draft law on the distribution of seats to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior and Security on Monday, May 22, in the late afternoon.
