Perpetual civilian Demonstrations in GOMA.
Today Tuesday 07th Feb 2023, the protesters in GOMA city have continued protesting since early morning, in the place called Santé mental “ mental health ” and down on ULPGL street , also on the three (3) straw hats ( paillottes).
As reportedly said to minembwe capital news by the citizens who resides in these places, where demonstration is taking place, they said that protesters have started putting stones on roads so that no car would pass.
These demonstrations done by Congolese is dominated by a large- scale number of Young people, but it was reportedly said that, there is a certain number of Kinshasa authoritative politicians backing up them.
At large these protesters are protesting against the East African Community Regional Forces ( EACRF) to have been passive in their peace keeping mission towards Armed groups.
Yesterday on February 06,2023, during the demonstrations three churches led by BANYAMULENGE ( Tutsi) pastors and any tutsi owned shop were destroyed completely to ground, and took all that were inside.
It was reportedly said that, more than 50 might have been died when they were destroying one among the three churches.
The demonstrators tried to enter Rwanda passing through the so called “ petite barrière ” the smaller border in other words, but they were scattered around by Rwandese police, these demonstrations reached yesterday’s evening hours.
The Congolese citizens, who resides in the city of Goma, were astonished for having no any radio station, to report anything about the destroyed churches of Tutsi people.
Okapi and radio 1 have reported everything concerning what exactly happened in the demonstrations but Banyamulenge church destruction was excluded. Even the Military Governor made a memo in the evening but he didn’t mention anything concerning the destroyed churches. This has hurt christians sorrowfully.
